Refurbishment of Friendsfield Steps

The set of connector steps between Friendsfield and the Claude Noel Highway has been restored to the benefit of all its users.
On hand to mark the refurbishment were Deputy Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly Dr. Faith B.Yisrael and Area Representative and Secretary of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development Assemblyman Nathisha Charles-Pantin – Bagatelle/Bacolet.
The Tobago Reforestation and Watershed Rehabilitation Programme – TRWRP in marking the occasion orchestrated the planting of breadfruit trees and ornamental plants towards the further development of the area as a “green space”. The company will also seek to furnish the area with a bamboo bench and table for recreational purposes.
The area will be maintained collaboratively by the Tobago Reforestation and Watershed Rehabilitation Programme – TRWRP and the CEPEP Programme.
