As the project title indicates, these cohorts engage in agroforestry-type activities which include planting and maintenance of trees and crops for the purpose of aiding with food security on the
island.
The trees and crops include multiple lumber species, plantain, cassava, sorrel, bodi beans,
squash, pumpkin, sweet potato, peas, cucumbers, ochros, benne and flavor peppers.
This project is in collaboration with the contractor G.A. Finisherz, supervised by site supervisor Rayann M. Duncan and overseen by the project manager, Maxlon Roberts.
