From inception, TRWRP’s mission has been to conserve and increase forest capital. This will be accomplished primarily through the planting and conservation of trees. TRWRP commits to partnering with the Department of Forestry and other public and private stakeholders to protect Tobago’s botanical heritage (especially the Main Ridge Forest Reserve) and to meet the objectives of the Man and the Biosphere designated area.
