Breadfruit Caravan Makes Stop in Scarborough

The Tobago Breadfruit Initiative (TBI) is back and our caravan rolled into Scarborough on Friday 30th September 2022. Assemblyman Trevor James- Area Representative for Scarborough/Mt. Grace participated as he planted a breadfruit tree on the grounds of the Harmon School of SDA within his constituency.

The Breadfruit Initiative is purposed to increase the population of breadfruit trees on the island of Tobago, thereby ensuring the availability of breadfruit to each household. The first phase of this initiative is targeted at all Assemblymen of the Tobago House of Assembly to plant breadfruit trees in all fifteen electoral districts in Tobago.
